Using zip in Windows xp with password we can send sensitive data..



To send the file, just Zip up the file and place a password to open it. Please perform the following instrunctions carefully .


1. Go to the folder, Right-Click on the file, and select (Left-Click) on Compressed (Zipped) Folder, see figure1.

2. There will be a new file created with a .Zip suffix, see figure2.

3. Double-Click on the new .Zip file and select File à Add a password, see figure3& figure4.


4. Make the password at least 8 digits containing numbers, letters, and not in the dictionary; press ENTER or Click OK.

5. Send the password and zip file in separate emails to your email recipient.
6. The email recipient will be prompted for the Password at the time of Extraction
