3rd method to hide and lock the folder without using any software:

just follow below simple instructions :

1. during writing the name of the folder just press Alt+0160 (type 0160) then enter

2 . Change the icon of your folder by doing right click on folder Goto->properties->costumize->change icon and choose the invisible icon( represents no icon) and click 0n ok .

3 .click tools menu on toolbars->folder option->view->uncheck “use simple file sharing” and click ok..

RIGHT CLICK ->properties->security->check all in “deny” and click OK

Now ur folder locked succesfully.
if u want to unlock \ goto—>right click goto->properties goto ->security goto->uncheck all in “deny” and click ok
hide folder by dos power
click START menu on taskbar–>click RUN
type cmd and click ok

type attrib foldername +r +a +s +h and ENTER

if u want to unhide just type --> attrib foldername -r -a -s -h and ENTER
